Silver Tungsten
Application -
Silver Tungsten is produced in exactly the same way
as Copper Tungsten, but substituting copper with pure
silver. The very high cost of this material usually
dictates the production of very small bars. Silver
Tungsten has the same good and bad points as Copper
Tungsten. Its overall advantage is the high conductivity
of silver which means that the smallest current can be
carried, giving negligible spark gap and fine surface
finish. It is used in the United Staes on work
requiring the highest possible accuracy.
